The Board is currently developing on-line resources to help businesses draw up a Welsh Language Policy.

In the meantime, you can use a template in the form of a Microsoft Word document. The template can help businesses to draw up a Welsh Language Policy. It's a simple document, which leads you through the various ways in which your business can use Welsh. The form asks you to describe what the business already does with regard to Welsh, and also what your business aims to do in the future.

The Board’s business officers are very happy to advise you on how to use the template, but please note that it is only a tool to help you draw up a Language Policy. A Language Policy is a document for the benefit of your staff and customers – the Board does not monitor Welsh language Policies and there is no attainment standard.
