Further Education.

There are 23 Further Education Institutions in Wales and the provision of bilingual and Welsh language vocational courses is increasing as the demand grows.

The areas of Early Years Education, Media, Business Administration, Agriculture, and Tourism and Leisure are where most bilingual and Welsh language courses are available.

Higher Education and Life Long Learning

There are 12 higher education institutions in Wales, as well as the Open University and the University for Industry. The main institutions that offer Welsh medium provision in courses other than Welsh include: Trinity College Carmarthen, the University of Wales Aberystwyth; and the University of Wales Bangor.

Many also offer lifelong learning courses through the medium of Welsh. There are links to every higher and further education institution in Wales on the right hand side of this screen.
