Make the switch to bilingual computing

Our free Language Control Centre (LCC) enables easy switching between Welsh and English language interfaces. Ideal for bilingual households and workplaces it enables people with different language skills to use their chosen language on the same machine. It also includes a series of tutorials. Separate version are available for Windows Vista and Windows XP - both free of charge. Choose the appropriate version under 'publications' on the right hand side of this screen.

 

Welsh Grammar, Spell checking and dictionary tools for your computer

Click here for further information on Cysgliad software for your PC 'Cysgliad' which includes CySill (a program to check Welsh grammar and spelling) together with 'Cysgeir' which enables you to easily find words in either Welsh or English, can be integrated into most word processing packages. There are two versions: one for PC and one for Apple Macintosh systems.

Translation Software

Several translation memory programs are available which ease repetitive translation. A full description of these is available in our Strategy Document (under 'publications' on the right hand side of this screen)
